Poison...

The doctors have decided to give Kaylee a medication that will help her expell the methatrexate. They say that her liver is fine right now but they need the poison out of her ASAP. We had the choice of taking the med last night, but we declined, because we thought for certain that her levels would be fine at 10 PM on her own. We were wrong!

The scary thing about this to me is that people are talking about my childs kidney's. We talk blood on a regular basis, which is terrifying alone, but when you see urgency towards vital organs it wakes you up quickly. So we've agreed to let them do whatever.

Kaylee is going to get morphine so it takes away from her soar throat. They believe since she isn't eating that this might have something to do with it. We are at the mercy of Mercy Hospital.
