Thank you Cari Derks Turner for this picture! It is me and my best friend Nick, sorry for the beer mom. I was sixteen years of age, the same age as Kaylee. I can't say I condone underage drinking but I sure wish Kaylee was at the lake drinking something besides the Gatorade the nurse just spiked with meds.
Time flys. Where is that kid? I had no obligations, no commitments, and no dependents. Today I'm deep into my family. It's been years since I've been to the lake. My hair is gray and I grew an extra chin or two. Times were good.
Today is good as well. I love my children and I love my life. I would change a thing or two if I could but I can't so I have to enjoy the journey. Thanks again Cari Derks Turner!
